CV rental demand hits new record in run-up to Christmas

The rental specialist has reported a 10% increase year-on-year in rental demand as logistics and courier companies turn to daily rental to scale up their fleets to cope with retail demand, including over Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Nexus has already added 24 commercial suppliers to its network this year to ensure large volumes of the types of vehicle popular with Christmas courier companies such as extra-long wheel base vans – with the Sprinter proving the most popular this year – although the company said it foresees being able to add other types of vehicle in line with market demand in future Christmases and added that it has several innovations in the pipeline for 2018 to improve its ‘peak product’.
